This is a blended course with 15 hours of self-paces online content plus 20 hours of Live online instruction spread over 5 days. Participants learn to setup, build, install, configure and troubleshoot the core components of an MediaCentral | Production Management system.
Overview
The ACSR Avid MediaCentral | Production Management System Support (WG433) course provides extensive hands-on classroom experience in installing, maintaining and troubleshooting core Interplay components. Students build
MediaCentral | Production Management systems from the ground up, including
MediaCentral | Production Management Engines and Media Indexers on NEXIS shared storage. They also learn how to properly set up and troubleshoot Avid Service Framework and Production Management Production Services. Students also create, maintain and backup an MediaCentral | Production Management database on their newly constructed systems. In addition, the course will cover how to manage network components required in MediaCentral | Production Management installations, such as Microsoft Active Directory and DNS.
This course prepares candidates for the Avid Certified Support Representative: MediaCentral | Production Management certification exam as well as being the next step in the program for candidates pursuing the full certification path to become an Avid Certified Support Representative: Elite.
