OVERVIEW

MediaCentral | Production Management System Administration is designed for individuals responsible for the setup and day-to-day operation of components in an MediaCentral | Production Management workgroup environment. Students learn how to administer the MediaCentral | Production Management Engine and how to maintain a database in the system. Additional topics include database customization, backups, deletion strategies, daily and weekly maintenance and Media Indexer. Connecting editor workstations to the Interplay system is also covered. This course prepares candidates for the Avid Certified System Administrator: MediaCentral | Production Management certification exam. It is also a pre-requisite (or equivalent experience) for the ACSR MediaCentral | Production Management System Support (WG433) course and the Avid Certified Support Representative: MediaCentral | Production Management certification exam.
