Featuring the lowest possible latency, 7.1 multichannel support, and unique features to control and shape your sound with precision, Pro Multiband Dynamics is a powerful Pro Series 64-bit AAX plugin that will help you deliver master-quality productions with ease.

Shape great sounding mixes fast by selectively compressing or expanding audio in up to four frequency bands. Get precision control by applying upward expansion and downward compression only to signals that go below or above the threshold. You can even output each band into separate busses for additional processing. Plus, with its easy-to-use interface, graphic frequency band display, and versatile metering, you have all the feedback you need to hone in the perfect sound.

Pro Multiband Dynamics is included in the Avid Complete Plugin Bundle, which is also included with all Pro Tools Ultimate subscriptions and 1-Year Software Updates + Support Plans.

    Downward expansion is ideal for post-production dialog where the frequency content of the desired audio is often well-defined

NOTES

Pro Multiband Dynamics is not recommended for parallel dynamics processing as it can result in phase issues between the processed signal and the unprocessed signal. Like many multiband compressors, Pro Multiband Dynamics uses minimum-phase filters to ensure efficient low-latency processing. However, this results in a signal that does not phase-align with a parallel unprocessed signal. You can use Flip band processing mode for results similar to parallel processing without phase issues or having to set up parallel compression routing.
