They can organize projects, create bins and sequences, create proxies, and group media quickly to support the editing team—without using Media Composer. The web client speeds up logging assets, enabling better search results so editors can find the exact clips they need faster.
Assistants can browse, search for, locate, and access video, audio, and image content stored on Avid NEXIS from anywhere using just a web browser. They can also find all clips that contain specific spoken words or phrases in seconds with the Phonetic Index option. They can even see the number of keyword instances and jump to the exact timecode for each one.
Avid NEXIS | EDGE enables collaborative video editing for assistant editors and story editors and the editing team with tools for editing simple sequences, whether working at the facility, on location, or elsewhere.
