Developed from the ground up, the Avid Pro Limiter AAX plugin lets you maximize the loudness of your mix—in up to 7.1 surround—without distortion or harshness. Designed to be completely transparent sounding, Pro Limiter prevents audio from clipping and pushes the volume of your mix further, while preserving the sonic quality and underlying dynamics of the performances.

Pro Limiter offers a variety of features that go beyond capabilities found in most other limiter products, providing detailed and nuanced control of the audio signal loudness. Thanks to AAX DSP optimization, Pro Limiter handles monster-sized Pro Tools | HDX mixes with ease, delivering exceptional sound quality and DSP efficiency. Featuring exceptionally clean and transparent sound, Pro Limiter sits well in the mix while maintaining tight control over output levels.

Pro Limiter is included in the Avid Complete Plugin Bundle, which is also included with all Pro Tools Ultimate subscriptions and 1-Year Software Updates + Support Plans.

    Pro Limiter complies with the ITU-R BS.1770-3 loudness metering standard, including True Peak, Integrated Loudness, and Loudness Range measurements, and is suitable for both EBU R128 and ATSC A/85 (CALM Act) broadcast workflows
