Charles Little II, ACE speaks with Avid.

Charles Little II, ACE is a film and television editor-director-producer and an award-winning multimedia creative. Charles’ credits as a motion picture editor include multiple seasons of Ryan Murphy’s hit drama series “9-1-1” and “9-1-1 Lone Star” (FOX, 20th Television); FX Network’s internationally acclaimed documentary series “Welcome To Wrexham” (Boardwalk Pictures); and Kristian Hill’s groundbreaking feature length documentary film on the origins of techno music entitled “God Said Give Em Drum Machines” (Washington Hill Pictures).

Charles also delivered three well received thirty-minute episodes of MTV’s multi-camera rap music competition series entitled: “1 World Hip Hop Championship” as it’s Executive Producer, Director and Editor. Charles’ additional filmmaking accolades include a Best Editing Award at the fifth annual Elevate Film Festival (Los Angeles) and a Telly Award for his work as Producer, Director, Editor on Singha Beer’s worldwide digital marketing series entitled “Transportraits” for Chicago-based advertising agency Gertrude, Inc.

Charles is an active member of the industry’s most prestigious organizations; advancing the craft of motion picture editing and advocating for diversity and inclusion across the film and television industry both below and above the line. His affiliations include: American Cinema Editors (A.C.E.), Motion Picture Editors Guild (IATSE Local #700) and the Motion Picture Editors Guild’s African-American Steering Committee. Charles currently resides in Los Angeles.
