George Mandl, ACE is an Emmy-Nominated film and TV editor with over 17 years of industry experience. Most recently, he edited the Hulu sketch comedy series History of the World, Part II, starring Mel Brooks, Wanda Sykes, Nick Kroll, and Ike Barinholtz, for which he received his first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Picture Editing for Variety Programming.

Well-known for his comedic sensibilities and excellent editing skills, George’s notable credits include the FX hit comedy series The League, starring Mark Duplass and Paul Scheer and created by Jeff Schaffer; the Hulu documentary-comedy hybrid film For Madmen Only: The Stories of Del Close, which was an official selection of the 2020 SXSW Film Festival and starred James Urbaniak, Patton Oswalt and Lauren Lapkus; and the Emmy-nominated Showtime comedy series Who is America? starring Sacha Baron Cohen.

George is a proud member of American Cinema Editors (ACE). His goals for the future are to edit feature films and explore different genres such as dark comedy, dramedy, and sci-fi.
